hey kristin, i have been having some troubles in like and just really wanted someone to talk to because i trust you and yeah here i go... so basically i have had problem with depression and cutting for about a year now but have never told anyone and just gotten on in my life by hiding my scars. i haven't cut for about 2 months now, but these few weeks at school alot of things have been happening and i have heard a lot of rumours about me, and i really want to cut because im so upset, please help
First off, you’re BEAUTIFUL! God made YOU, and His creation is BEAUTIFUL! You should really read Psalm 139! It’s incredible! It says, “You have searched me, LORD, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

“The Anthem” by Planetshakers
I currently love this song a little too much. It’s so incredible. Revelation 5:11-14 reads, “Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying:
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”
There will be a day when everything will bow down and praise God for who HE is. I cannot wait for that glorious day. Tens upon ten thousand, million, even over a billion people praising their Creator. I get so excited attempting to imagine that day. It’s going to be so extraordinary.
Last School Supply Haul
- 4 pks. of 2 ct. Expo markers- normally priced $1.74 ea., but I matched it with a Walgreens ad for 99 cents each and had a two dollar coupon for every two I bought. I got them for free with 8 cents overage.
- 2 pk. Papermate pens- They were on sale at Walmart for 50 cents, and I had two dollar coupons. I got one for each dollar, and that left me with a one dollar overage.
- 1 ruler- 97 cents.
- Pencil pouch- $3.00 It was the most expensive thing I bought, but Jonathan didn’t have a pencil pouch so I got it for him.
- 2 packs of BIC Wite-Out- normally $1.47 each, but Walmart had them on sale for 75 cents each. I got two, and had a $1 coupon off 2 BIC stationary products.
- 300 index cards- they were supposed to be $1.24, but they were on sale for 75 cents.
All in all I got $20.74 worth of stuff for $5.20. I mainly had to pay for the pencil pouch, part of the ruler, and index cards. The lines were awful though. Everyone seemed to be buying buggies full of groceries (like fully filled). Bah. I stood in line for at least 30 minutes.
What I learned today: Wait until the week after most people go to school to get things you need, but won’t need the first day. Well, in my case at least. I don’t even need Expo markers, but I can give them to teachers who do! Couponing is a great way to share things you don’t need with others who do. (:
First day of school
I know all of you would love to read about my first day of school (joking of course), so here I go. First off, it was a half day. I only had to go to school for three hours, and let me tell you.. I spent those three hours taking a mock ACT. The group I took it with was complaining (some of them), and some of the boys were guessing. This test was supposed to see if we needed to take the ACT or the PSAT, but whatever it’s their life. I’m not complaining. The grade below me has a quiz on Monday, a paper due, and homework in another class. I would rather have no homework and take the ACT for three hours than not take it and have homework. All in all it was a lovely day. I even met a new girl! I love meeting new people. She was a natural red head! I love people who have red hair! It’s so unique and wonderful. Alright, that was my day. I hope your day was spectacular! Oh, and my summer reading papers are due by Monday at 8:00 a.m. We get to turn them in on turnitin.com. How splendid?! We had to read Heart of Darkness by Jonathan Conrad, The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis (it was amazing you should all read it), and Lord of the Flies by William Goulding. In my opinion, they were all great except Heart of Darkness. I could not get into that book to save my life. Well, I guess I could to save my life, but it’d be hard! So.. that’s me talking about my day. I guess I shall go now! Hopefully I’ll have more of these up every once in awhile! I love typing.
